The series of separators ranges from a simple horizontal weather louvre through to a multi-layered system where a compact unit of vertical louvres/vanes are combined with coalescer filters to remove sea spray, rain, bulk water and gives a high output/efficiency against salt aerosols and other fine deliquesced debris.
Alternatively, the separators can protect against contamination of the air, with dust and other pollutants, from entering the compressor and turbine.
A basic weather protection device for removing corrosive rain water and some fog from air intakes and exhaust applications.
A three stage air intake separator for the most extreme conditions or where a very high level of efficiency is required, such as critical air intake systems.
A single stage vane separator, removes sea spray, rain, bulk water, salt and other fine deliquesced aerosol debris from air intakes.
Trace heated inlet vanes prevent inlet icing in freezing conditions.
A two stage vane separator system generally comrising and inertial vane separator (SE1) and filter coalescer. The SE2 tends to be the first stage of an air intake.
Fluid heated inlet units prevent inlet icing in freezing conditions and can also be used to cool in warm conditions.
For extreme conditions requiring extra protection, our products can be fitted with a watertight / weathertight hatch.
This unit is utilised when not only moisture elimination of the highest level is required but also a high level of dust removal.
